Our Heritage & Brotherhood
Organized May 26, 2014 | Chartered June 10, 2015
The Light of Prince Hall
Prince Hall Freemasonry is the oldest recognized and continuously active organization founded by African Americans. Its legacy is woven into the very fabric of American history, championing civil rights, community upliftment, and moral rectitude since its inception in the late 18th century.
Fort Gillem Lodge No. 601 proudly carries this torch in Forest Park, Georgia. Organized on May 26, 2014, and receiving our official charter on June 10, 2015, we represent a modern manifestation of these ancient and honorable traditions. Our lodge was forged by dedicated brethren committed to establishing a beacon of Masonic light in the southern metropolitan Atlanta area.
